Change by the creek

After a wide variety of different legal and logistical considerations were taken into account, the Hazen City Commission has decided to rezone property in the town.
The issue is notably complex, as the property in question is not actually within city limits, although it is under city jurisdiction.
Located just south of Antelope Creek in its bend southward of Highway 200, the property is southwest of the bulk plant and The Hub convenience store. It is northeast of the cul-de-sacs located at the end of 5th and 6th Ave. NW.
The decision to move forward with the rezone was made at a special city commission meeting held Monday, following an initial presentation on the matter the previous week.
