Gathering, remembering, celebrating

Forty years ago, they dared the dangers and unknowns of leaving all they knew for a new country and a new life.
Now, they are fully immersed in the life of Hazen and the United States, celebrating as a family as they watch one of their own graduate from high school.
Some of the Hansana family live as far apart as Arizona, New York and Minnesota, but they find any excuse to come together in Hazen.
“No matter where anyone’s at, we always get together,” Manivone (Mani) Hansana-Coefield said. “Hazen is home.”
