Boys dominate small meet

The Beulah-Hazen crosscountry team had a strong showing at the Bowman meet last Thursday. It was a small meet with six teams on a windy day running a fairly flat course. The Miners dominated action with a first place total of only 20 points. In second place was the host team with 46 points.

Bison beat up Beulah

On their opening drive Hazen quarterback Stetson Carr broke free from the pocket to scramble 53 yards into the end zone. That pattern replayed several times as the Bison steamrolled over Beulah 42-0 in Coal Bowl XXXII last Friday in Hazen.
