Coal Bowl delay worth game

Coal Bowl delay worth game
The Coal Bowl was suppose to start at 7 p.m. Friday but bad weather delayed the game until 8:44 p.m. The storm made the field wet and resulted in a lot of ball security issues. In total there were 17 times that the ball was on the ground because of a bad snap or fumble.
Hazen head coach Rick Philion addressed the ball security issue during the game and gave his center words of advice.
“Don’t worry about anything, just snapping. Just relax and play the game like you learned,” Philion said.
