Hazen picks up Region 7 win

Hazen and Glen Ullin-Hebron went back and forth last week in a Region 7 matchup. Hazen came out at home with a 3-1: 21-25, 25-21,25-19, and 25-22 win.
Hazen was up for most of the first set but Glen Ullin-Hebron came back late to take the set and jump out to a 1-0 match lead. Hazen didn’t let another comeback attempt happen for the rest of the match winning the next three sets.
Glen Ullin-Hebron came close to forcing a fifth set in the match with a 20-20 tie after Kinsey Zuroff recorded a kill. The teams traded points with a serving error and a hitting error, which forced them to re-lock at 21-21.
Glen Ullin-Hebron hit the ball out of play and committed a hitting error with gave Hazen a 23-21 lead late in the set. Hazen was lifted to set point by a Tenley Sage at the net. But their attempt to win the game came up short.
