Parker’s hard work pays off in state championship

Tyler Parker set the bar high this spring.
The Hazen junior chose to compete in both track and field and baseball this spring while also maintaining an A average in school.
All his hard work paid off last Saturday as he was crowned the javelin champion with a throw of 178 feet, 3 inches. He also placed eighth in the discus with a toss of 139-8.
