The 3 without the -peat

The number three has been on Hazen golfers’ minds all season. External pressure has pounded the idea of a never-before-achieved three-peat state title into all the Lady Bison’s heads. With all the building hype during last week’s Girls Class B State Golf Meet, the dramatic finale was appropriate.

Central Cass led the team standing after the first day three strokes better then defending champion Hazen. Following the next day’s 18 holes, Kenmare outdid them all with a 359 – three strokes less than second best Hazen.
