The special meeting of the McClusky City Council was held in the community center of city hall on Monday, September 24. The issues were the changes in the work order for a portion of the water pipe project along Highway 200.
Moore Engineering representatives Josh Feil and Luke Arnold, presented items for motions that included invoice payments contingent upon Rural Development approval, status of project and loan program signup for future project eligibility.
The McClusky High School reunion of the classes 1957 through 1963 was held in Bismarck, August 17 and 18. Festivities began at the Holiday Inn Hotel on Friday evening with a social gathering of 52 alumni, spouses, friends, and former faculty member Al Schmierer and wife Carol.
Shannon Dieterle ran in the June primary for the commissioner’s seat for District 1 in Sheridan County under the encouragement of friends, with stronger urging from his Granville Township board. “I thought about it up to the last minute. It is the first board position I have ever run for.”
The Goodrich Rural Fire Department recently received potentially life-saving grain-bin rescue equipment and training through a donation from Farm Credit Services of Mandan.
