From Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 the McClusky Merchants Association will sponsor Midsummer events of all types for visitors and residents to enjoy.
McClusky Job Development President and Mayor Roberta Hunt opened the USDA meeting with a welcome to USDA and the partner organization gathered to give information and direction to the gathered county representatives and community leaders.
The residents, under the guidance of Administrator Connie Werth, Sheridan Memorial Home’s own nurse Missy Axt, and the gardening skills of Sheridan County Extension Agent Nicole Wardner, decided to try a container/raised garden project for their summer enjoyment.
NDLTAP offered Motor-Grader Operator training for counties in a two-day, two context situations. The first day was classroom training at the Underwood host facility, followed by hands-on field training at individual county sites on the second day.
Following a public hearing in late May, the Sheridan County Commissioners decided to listen to the people who spoke out both at the meeting and privately. The county treasurer’s elected position will not be eliminated.
