Fischer recovering after loss of limbs
Matthew Fischer of Mercer, ND was involved in a terrible farming accident on Nov 10, 2013. The accident caused the loss of his left arm and left leg.

"I think you should apply" said Barb Lauer’s father-in-law Ted Lauer, when he learned that there would be an opening at the local bank. "I had no intention of going to work at that time," laughed Barb.

Santa Day cold, crisp and full of treats

JDA special meeting airs complaints
A small gathering, of eight plus McClusky Job Development members, Chair Roberta Hunt, Andrea Kluck, Jason Parsons and Joey Belisle, listened to daycare supervisor Ilean Gross and other visitors about the issues concerning Little Hearts Daycare and staffing issues. The meeting was held on Dec 16 at McClusky City Hall Council chambers.

Merchants reaffirm officers who serve “life terms” once elected
Telling them there is no out after being elected, or volunteering, the president, secretary, and treasurer of the McClusky Merchants As-sociation were re-chosen for another year. “It is move or die,” one member quipped.
