A cheerful competition

Saturday was full of pep and cheer as the Garrison Trooper Cheerleaders competed in their first ever state cheerleading competition.
The girls competed in the “Time Out Cheer” division of the NDCCA (ND Cheer Coaches Association) Winter State Cheerleading Competition, along with three other Class B teams.
“There were 9 Class A and six Class B squads at the competition,” Coach Tyeson Ziemann said. “They only announced 1st, so I don’t know how we placed, but the girls did great for their first ever competition.”
According to Ziemann, her team was a bit on the nervous side.
