Another first place for female tracksters

Even though many girls weren’t there for the Garrison-Max girls track meet, they still managed to pull off a win tying for 1st place at the Washburn meet last week. Only nine girls competed in nine events, and there were top ten finishes in each event.
“It was a really fun meet to be at,” said Head Coach Justin Folk.
The sprinters once again showed what they were made of with Sarah Lagge coming in first place, and Kaitlyn Klein coming in second in the 100 meter dash.
Flip that for the 200 meter and Kaitlyn Klein came in first with Lagge in the fifth spot.
The Troopers had two top ten finishers in the 800 meter also. Olivia Klein came in fifth, and Emalie Jeffrey came in seventh.
The girls always do well in the hurdles, and the Washburn meet was no exception. Karli Klein once again came in first place in both the 100 meter and 300 meter hurdles. Olivia Klein finished in third place for the 300 meter hurdles. Summers Foss placed in both races also; eighth in 100 meter hurdles and ninth in 300 meter hurdles.
