By STU MERRY

The Garrison-Max track team continues to ramp up its game. The competition was punctuated by Cassidy Huesers who is the first Trooper to qualify for state.

Cassidy turned in a time of 5:26.66 in the 1600m run to etch her name in the roll to run at state in late May. Cassidy was also named meet MVP at the Bison-Miner Classic, racking up 14 individual points. She set two personal bests at the Classic.

The girls are running with swagger. At both the Bison-Miner Classic and Watford City Invite, a number of personal bests were recorded, including Kaitlyn Klein in the 100 and 200, the 4x100m relay team of Macy Dimler, Danielle Dimitch, Skylar Bright and Kaitlyn Klein; Macy Dimer in the 100m hurdles and Sarah Lagge in high jump.
