Braves split NWC games

In the Northwest Conference tournament on Monday, Dec. 19, the Braves won their first game, 55 to 42, over the Ray Jays.
The Braves were tied with the Ray Jays at halftime 21 to 21. The first half was very physical as both sides fought to a draw. In the second half, the Braves executed much better on defense and outscored the Jays 34 to 21.
Scoring for the Braves were Ken Wells-23 with 5 assists, Tre Coffey-11 with 12 rebounds, Jade Moran-9, Josh Ector-8, and Dexter Two Crow-4.
Coach Nick Ator said; “We matched a very physical Ray team. It was a tough physical game, defense and rebounds made the difference.”
