Braves stumble in opener

The Parshall Braves girls basketball team put three good quarters together but stumbled in the fourth quarter to lose their season opener 67-60 to the Stanley Bluejays.
The Braves and Bluejays traded short runs early in the game, with the Bluejays going up 6-2 to start the game. The Braves had their own spurt to tie the game at the end of the quarter at 11-11. The Braves took control in the second quarter, outscoring Stanley 16-10 to lead 27-20 at the half. They extended their lead in the third and entered the fourth quarter 43-24.
