Final archery shoot Tuesday night

Final archery shoot Tuesday night
The National Wild Turkey Federation Archery League has been meeting Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in Parshall City Hall. There have been 15-20 people shooting each week since the league started on an. 5 and all involved feel it is an excellent range to sharpen their archery skills.
The range consists of 12 full-body targets including turkey, raccoon, coyote, deer, bear, antelope, big horn sheep and elk with opportunities to shoot from varying heights and positions to simulate hunting conditions and distances of 12-35 yards. Every evening each archer shoots a series of 36 arrows as well as warm ups. Scores are kept so each individual can monitor their progress. Tuesday will be the final weekly shoot until next winter.
Although there will be a break from the weekly shoots, those participating are going to continue to be active throughout the year. They have just started selling tickets for a raffle with prizes including various hunts in Canada and Wyoming as well as guns and other prizes. The price of a ticket is $30 or two for $50. The proceeds of the raffle will be used to purchase youth archery equipment and targets. Anyone interested in purchasing tickets can contact Brent @ 701-720-1527 or Derrik @ 701-523-6758.
