Lady Braves dominate

By Alexandra Hootnick

The Parshall Lady Braves earned a sweeping 92-37 home victory against the North Shore Wildcats Tuesday. After an energetic first quarter the Lady Braves maintained a 30-point lead to advance their season record to 8-1.

Four Lady Braves scored in the double digits: senior Alexis Woods finished with 14 points, and juniors Cheyenne Packineau, Michelle Risan and Kiara Packineau came in with 26, 15 and 14 points, respectively. Highlights included Cheyenne Packineau grabbing 11 rebounds.

Coach Mervin Packineau chalked up the girls’ success last night to their ability to work as a team. "They were looking for each other, which is a big difference rather than just trying to take it one on one," he said.
