Lady Braves race to first Cross Country victory

The Parshall Lady Braves won their first cross country meet in several years with a consistent pace that saw four girls finish in the top ten at the Rolling Hills Meet in Dunseith on Sept. 4.
The Parshall girls won the meet with 50 points followed by Rugby, 58, Surrey, 100, Turtle Mountain, 132, Fort Totten, 141, Langdon, 142, Dunseith, 156, North Star, 176 and Rolla, 190. Head Coach Harlan Anderson was pleased with his teams’ efforts. The Parshall boys team finished fifth despite having only three runners. The Braves finished with 124 points. Rugby won the meet with 30 points, followed by Four Winds-Minnewaukan, 62, Langdon, 120, Turtle Mounty 121, Parshall, 124, Dunseith, 129 and Burke Central, 140.
