Lady Braves split in Volleyball

By Jerry W. Kram

The Parshall Braves Volleyball picked up their second win and first loss of the year this week beating district rival Trinity Christian 3-0 while falling to Lewis and Clark by the same score.

The Braves had a close fought match with the Trinity Crusaders Tuesday. The first game of the match was decided by just two points, 25-23. The second game was almost as close, 25-22 and Braves were able to close out the match 25-17 in the third game. The victory gave the Braves a 1-0 record in District 15 action.

"We had an excellent game against Trinity," said Braves Head Coach Amber Yellowbird. "Trinity was tough but couldn’t serve well."
