Dexter Two Crow had a big nigh for the Parshall-White Shield Braves as the took control of the game early to dominate the game Friday night at Bowman County.
Two Crow struck early and often in the first half, scoring two touchdowns in the first quarter. With a successful two point conversion on the second touchdown, the score after one quarter was 14-0.
“It was definably a better game than our first two” said Coach Mark Grueneich.” We did a much better job on defense in containing the Bowman offense and not giving up big plays.”
When the half time buzzer went off, the score had increased by another 16 points on two more touchdowns by Two Crow.
“Our offensive and defensive lines did a good job of taking control of the line of scrimmage. We were able to consistently move the ball for the first time this year,”Grueneich said. Defense also saw improvement. “We worked on some defense adjustments and some offensive blocking changes that were needed after our opening games.”
