Wells finishes 2nd in Kiwanis meet
Team competes against Class A, B and Montana schools

Once again, it was the Kenny Wells show when the Parshall Braves competed in the Mandan Kiwanis cross country meet last weekend.
Wells, a junior, ran a strong race in the popular statewide event. finishing a scant 20 seconds behind Bismarck High’s Jake Leingang who set a personal record in 15:33 and set the stage for the Demons to take the title.
Wells was the highest Class B finisher that included schools from all across North Dakota and parts of Montana. In fact, Parshall, as a team, finished just ahead of Glendive, Mont., in the point standings.
Bismarck won the event with a mind boggling 30, while Williston, Century, West Fargo and Douglas County, Mont., followed. New Town was the highest Class B team in sixth place with190 and Parshall finished 10th with 289.
