The Lakeside Community Living Center has closed. The basic care and assisted living facility has been operated by the New Town Health Support Corporation since acquiring it from the Good Samaritan Society nearly a decade ago.

Eagles bring home state runner up trophy
A group of sophomores were the first New Town Eagles to make it to the state Drama Tournament back in 2017. This year, as seniors, they returned and came home with the second place trophy.
