William Telsrow, the new STEM teacher at Edwin Loe Elementary School in New Town has launched the exciting curriculum that incorporates science, technology, engineering and math into serious learning. Now his third, fourth and fifth graders can do even more.
Telsrow was a fourth grade teacher at Edwin Loe before assuming his new position.
Telsrow wrote and received a grant from Sonic (the Sonic restaurant chain). The $2,345 grant will be used for organizers for student supplies for STEM projects. Telsrow had the class and student organizational skills in mind when he applied for the grant. He just needed the space and tools to organize. He proposed it just that way: Organized Stem.
“By getting these organizers, I will be able to make sure that all of the students’ supplies stay together, he said.
