Lady Eagles continue on a roll
The New Town Lady Eagles cruised to a pair of easy victories this week defeating the Kenmare Honkers 79-23 and the Stanley Blue Jayes 82-31.

Fast starts lead to Lady Eagles victories
The Lady Eagles used fast starts to rack up a pair of victories this week, beating the Lady Wolves of Watford City 68-57 and routing the Max Lady Cossacks 86-26.
Eagles take down Wolves in overtime
The Eagles played a tight game last Thursday, as they played against the Watford City Wolves, winning by one point in overtime in the last minute of the game, 69-68.
Troopers open 1-1
The boys basketball season is off and running. Monday, the Garrison Troopers played their second game of the season, a home opener, against neighboring Drake-Anamoose. The Troop prevailed 58-43.
Parshall’s Lady Braves put up good fight against Stanley Jays
The opening round of the Region 8 Volleyball Tournament saw high competition Monday.
New Town Cross Country brings home State Championship
New Town’s Cross Country team’s captured the State Championship October 27th in Dickinson. Seven New Town Boy’s made All State, finishing in the top 20, which broke the school record. Symbria Bell, Lady Eagle, came in second place overall out of the 196 runners that competed.
Eagles, Braves runners head to state
The New Town Eagles Boys Cross Country team dominated the West Region Cross Country Meet held in Parshall Oct. 13 placing nine runners in the top 20. The Eagles Girls Team placed sixth with two runners finishing in the top 20.
Braves, Eagles win in volleyball tourney
The New Town Lady Eagles and Parshall-White Shield Lady Braves were in Garrison for the Garrison Harvest Invitational on Saturday, October 6th, taking third and fifth place respectively.
Eagles dominate Williston at Cross Country Meet
Most of the West Region Class B teams were represented at the meet at Williston Thursday, Sept. 27, and it gave the Eagles an idea of where they are at in the West Region compared to the other teams.
